Capability 01 · Connect

Every signal, one operating layer.

Product direction

The executive problem

The context an executive needs is spread across email, calendars, documents, meeting notes, chat threads, task systems, CRM records, and research feeds. Each tool holds a fragment; none holds the picture.

The usual answers are bad: either migrate everything into yet another system, or keep paying a daily reassembly tax in tabs and searches.

The IEVA approach

IEVA takes a third path: it creates a governed context layer across the tools an organization already uses. You explicitly authorize each source, IEVA reads with least-privilege scopes, and nothing has to move.

Connection is not ingestion-and-forget. Each source keeps visible health, scope, and permission state, so you always know what the operating layer can and cannot see.

Fictional IEVA concept view: connected channel router with source health, permission scopes, and signal routing.
Connected channels — concept view, not a shipped interface

Example workflow: Connecting a leadership team's context

Concept workflow

  1. Authorize email and calendar with read scopes; authorize the documents workspace for two shared drives only.
  2. Review the permission summary IEVA presents — every source, every scope, in plain language.
  3. IEVA begins building context from those sources, attributing every derived item back to where it came from.
  4. A source you never authorized stays invisible — there is no implicit crawling.

What the user sees

  • A connected-channels view: each source with its live status, scope, and last activity.
  • A permissions panel that reads like a contract, not a settings maze.
  • Provenance on every piece of derived context — which message, which document, which meeting.

Human control and governance

  • Explicit source authorization: nothing is connected by default.
  • Least-privilege scopes per source, reviewable at any time.
  • Disconnecting a source is a first-class action, not a support ticket.
