Capability 04 · Delegate

Specialist agents, cleanly coordinated.

Product direction

The executive problem

Executives and their teams drown in bounded, delegable work: background research, first drafts, monitoring, synthesis. Delegating it to people costs coordination; delegating it to a single monolithic AI produces unaccountable output.

A swarm of autonomous agents acting without oversight is not delegation — it is abdication.

The IEVA approach

IEVA's prototype codifies repeatable specialist workflows as version-controlled skills: content refinement, research extraction, knowledge harvesting, document creation, system maintenance. The product evolves these into specialist agents coordinated by IEVA, which remains the orchestration and relationship layer.

Every delegation has a shape: a clear objective, bounded access, an isolated working context, visible status while running, source provenance on the result, and a clean handoff back for review. Consequential actions still stop at approval gates.

Fictional IEVA concept view: delegated workflow board with agent status, handoffs, and approval states.

Example workflow: Overnight competitive research

Concept workflow

  1. You ask for a briefing on a competitor's new offering before Thursday's board prep.
  2. IEVA frames the objective and dispatches a research agent with access to authorized research feeds only.
  3. The agent works in an isolated context; its status is visible the whole time.
  4. The result returns as a structured brief with every claim cited. You review the handoff, accept it, and its findings join your preparation.

What the user sees

  • A delegation board: each agent's objective, scope, status, and outputs.
  • Handoffs presented for review — accept, revise, or discard.
  • Provenance on every claim in delegated output.

Human control and governance

  • Bounded access per delegation — agents see only what their task requires.
  • Isolated working contexts prevent cross-contamination between tasks.
  • No delegated work becomes action without human review at the gate.
